Inside the walls of Terra del Sole

With this guided tour we will delve into the history and architecture of the ideal Renaissance city, commissioned by Cosimo I de' Medici as the capital of his Tuscan Romagna.
From the halls of Palazzo Pretorio we will move on to visit the village's two imposing gates, the Florentine and the Roman, where, inside the Castello del Governatore (also known as the Castello del Capitano di Piazza), the Borgo Romano volunteers will open their halls to us to take us into history.
An opportunity to spend an afternoon getting to know the area, experiencing at first hand the elegance and unique character of one of the most fascinating villages in the Montone river valley.
